Turkish-speaking therapist in Berlin: in-person and online sessions
If you are looking for a Turkish-speaking therapist in Berlin, I work with individuals, couples and families in Schmargendorf, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, and offer online sessions in Turkish for people elsewhere in Germany.

Who I work with
Individual sessions
You may be experiencing difficulties in a relationship, facing an important decision or wanting to understand yourself better. We explore what brings you here alongside your relationships and the circumstances of your life.
Couples sessions
In couples therapy in Turkish, we explore conversations that have become difficult and what you expect from each other. I pay attention to how each of you experiences the relationship and expresses your needs.
Family sessions
Family therapy in Turkish can provide time to discuss disagreements between generations, changing responsibilities or developments affecting family life. We decide who will attend according to what you want to address.
Speaking Turkish, meeting in person
You may use German throughout your day and prefer to speak Turkish about your feelings. A family expression, a childhood memory or a hurt can be difficult to convey in another language. In our sessions, you can use your own words, pause and reconsider what you want to say.
Living between cultures can raise questions about belonging, closeness and family relationships. We can explore how you bring together the life you have built in one country and your connections to another. Migration and cultural differences become part of our work when they matter to your experience.
In-person sessions in Schmargendorf are available if you prefer meeting in the same room. If you are looking for therapy in Turkish in Germany but cannot come to Berlin, we can consider online sessions.
My approach
My systemic approach considers your experiences alongside your relationships, life history and current circumstances. Bodily sensations, dreams, images and family connections can also help us explore what you bring to our sessions. We decide how to work together according to your needs and preferences.
Practical information
A 60-minute session costs €145. Couples and family sessions may require more time; we agree on the duration and total fee beforehand.
Sessions are self-funded and are not covered by health insurance. Online sessions take place on Zoom. If you join from another time zone, we confirm the appointment in both local times.
Arrange an initial consultation
In a free 30-minute initial consultation, we can discuss what brings you here, your expectations and how I work. You can take time afterwards to decide whether you would like to continue.
You can also send a short question about appointments on WhatsApp.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a psychologist, a psychotherapist and a systemic therapist?
A psychologist has academic training in psychology. A psychotherapist has the professional training and legal authorisation required to practise psychotherapy. A systemic therapist has trained in systemic therapy; this training alone does not authorise someone to practise psychotherapy.
I am not a psychologist or a psychotherapist. I am a DGSF-certified systemic therapist. My work focuses on relationships, life difficulties and personal development. I do not diagnose or treat illnesses. If you need this kind of support, you should consult an appropriately qualified psychotherapist or psychiatrist.
Do I need to live in Berlin to have sessions in Turkish?
No. In-person sessions take place in Berlin, and you can join online from elsewhere in Germany or anywhere in the world. We can discuss the format that suits you during the initial consultation.
Do we have to discuss migration or cultural differences?
No. What you bring determines the focus. We can work on relationships, work, a decision or an experience you would like to understand better.
