Individual Therapy
Some things can be hard to change, even when you understand them
You may be able to explain why you stay silent, yet find yourself doing so again just when you want to speak. You may know that a relationship is wearing you down, but feel guilty at the thought of stepping away. You do not need to have everything clearly defined when you begin therapy. An unfinished conversation, or a sense of being stuck that you cannot quite name, can be a starting point.

Finding a way of working that suits you
Everyone has their own story and their own way of feeling and expressing themselves. As I get to know you, we shape our work together. Talking, attending to dreams and images, noticing bodily sensations, or exploring a relationship through an experiential exercise may be useful at different times. Drawing on systemic therapy, Jungian dream and symbol work and other approaches in which I have trained, we keep your needs and the relevance of the work to your life in view.
Saying that something hurt you, staying in a relationship without taking responsibility for everything, or hearing your own wishes when making a decision: we consider how the understanding developed in our sessions can be used in these ordinary, concrete moments. As your needs change, we review how we work.
Format: In person in Berlin or online. Session languages: Turkish or English.
Initial consultation
In a free 30-minute initial consultation, we can discuss what has led you to seek a session, your expectations and your questions. Learning more about how I work and what the process involves can help you consider whether working together would be suitable for you.
