Family Therapy
Sharing a home, experiencing it differently
Sharing responsibilities, expectations between generations, separation, migration or a need for care can change the balance within a family. Even when everyone is trying to find a solution, conversations may keep getting stuck in the same place. We look at each person's experience and how family members affect one another.

What we explore together
Questions informed by a systemic approach help us explore relationships, family roles and changing needs. Where useful, we may work with a family map, represent a relationship spatially, or try out different perspectives. We decide together who should attend, according to the issue you want to address and the needs of the family members.
Our aim is to make it clearer what each person would like to change and to discuss steps that can be tried in everyday life. These might involve sharing a responsibility differently, clarifying a boundary, or expressing a need that has gone unheard for a long time.
Format: In person in Berlin or online. Session languages: Turkish or English.
Initial consultation
In a free 30-minute initial consultation, we can discuss what brings you to family therapy, your expectations and how the family sessions might proceed. Together, we can consider who it would be appropriate to involve and any questions you have about the process.
